Phyllaxis is a real-time audiovisual performance that translates nature’s self-organizing patterns through the lens of chaos theory. Guided by the spiral geometry of phyllotaxis, it explores how simple generative rules give rise to intricate, living systems, using synchronized sound and image to reflect nature’s unpredictable yet inherently ordered growth.

The audio-visual performance called “Low-End” explores how sound becomes a physical force in deep water, pushing against the body and resonating through bone. In the deep ocean, sound travels faster and heavier, creating a pressure that feels almost like the water is holding you. I want the audience to experience this weight through low-end frequencies that shake the body. The visual parts are inspired by deep-ocean creatures.

In-Between is an audio-visual installation that combines projected imagery, sculptural megaphones, and spatial sound. Within the installation, two megaphone sculptures are placed facing opposite directions, allowing audience members to stand across from one another and speak into them, as if exchanging a conversation or expressing their own version of the truth.

The Forbidden Marsh is an art installation by Naraphat Sakarthornsap with sound design by ANAPARN and lighting design by Human Spectrum. It was held at PoA White Box, Yellow Lane from 4-26 February 2023 as a part of Bangkok Design Week.The exhibit was inspired by a pond near the artist's childhood home, which was wild and uninviting. Naraphat aimed to recreate this marsh, where participants could wade in and face what lay within. The exhibit drew many attendees who were mesmerized by the indoor marsh, and those who explored behind the reeds found items hidden by the artists, including gay pornography that Naraphat used to hide from his mother when he was young.
